white board for boys and parents to have something to think about while they
wait for everyone to arrive at a Pack or Den Meeting. (An idea you could use would be to reward the
cub scouts a piece of candy if they get it right).

Who Said It?
Instructions: Write the quotes either
on chalk board or poster board or print them out on 8.5 x 11" paper. Then separately list the names of those who
said the quotes. As people come in have
them guess and jot down who said which quote.
Most of these quote were
taken from: https://www.brainyquote.com/quotes/topics/topic_religion.html
1) Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase. Martin Luther
2) If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. Mark 9:23
3) Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind. Albert Einstein
4) Religion is as necessary to reason as reason is to religion. The one cannot exist without the other. A reasoning being would lose his reason, in attempting to account for the great phenomena of nature, had he not a Supreme Being to refer to; and well has it been said, that if there had been no God, mankind would have been obliged to imagine one. George Washington
5) Our lives are the only meaningful expression of what we believe and in Whom we believe. And the only real wealth, for any of us, lies in our faith. Gordon B. Hinckley
6)Joy is the serious business of Heaven. C.S. Lewis
7) Within the covers of the Bible are the answers for all the problems men face. Ronald Reagan
8) We must meet one another doing good. The Pope http://www.quotes.net/authors/The%20Pope

Audience Participation/Game
STREAMER THROW
Materials: Attach a Crepe Paper Streamer about 8 ft long to a straw. To add weight to the straw if needed, wrap it in masking tape.
Instructions to play: Tell everyone that you are going to throw the streamer into the audience. Then tell that whoever catches it needs to tell us their name and something they did recently for someone else. Ideas could be they made dinner, got gas, talked to someone etc...After they tell everyone what they did, then it is their turn to throw the streamer up for someone else to catch. (Note: I found that if I wound up the crepe paper streamer half way (NOT all the way) onto the straw, that it was easier to throw it into the audience).
